Residential Drop-Off Information
High Acres Landfill is a private landfil, owned and operated by Waste Management of New York, LLC. As part of our host community benefit program we offer residents a drop off area for their solid waste at a discounted price, as an alternative to private pickup. This program is intended for materials generated in the home only and is not available for businesses.
Hours of Operation:
The resident Drop-Off Area will be open as follows:
Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM & 12:30 PM- 3:00 PM
Saturday: 7:30 AM- 1:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
Permits
In order to obtain the special resident pricing or purchase discount cards, a disposal permit must be obtained at the Town Clerk's Office. Proof of residency and license plat number are required. The permit must be affixed to the vehicle. if you will be using more than one vehicle please obtain a permit for each. the permit is non-transferable. if you purchase a new vehicle, a new permit must be obtained. ther eis no charge for the permit. Anyone using the Resident Drop-Off area without a permit will not receive the resident discount and will be charged the nonresident rate, regardless of residency. Only residents of the Town of Perinton and the Town of Macedon are eligible for the discounted rate.
